How we teach
At Praia Kite, every session starts with checking the wind. We pick the best spot for your level — flatwater in the Mayapo lagoon, the open sea for more action, or even a secret spot for extra adventure.
We’ll let you know in advance where the lesson will take place. If you're staying in Mayapo, we’ll pick you up and bring you back. If you're in Riohacha, we can arrange transport for a small fee or help you book a taxi.
Once on site, we begin with theory and setup: gear assembly, safety, and kite control.
If you already have experience, we do a quick spot briefing so you feel confident before riding.
All lessons are private, so your instructor is focused only on you. After each session, we give personalized feedback and set goals for your next lesson to ensure steady progress.
